La Placita Inn

I’ve stayed at four places in Roatan now and Placita was my second favourite. It has an excellent location close to the beach, staff were helpful, pool was good and breakfast was good. Room was beautiful, spacious and clean. TV was huge with Netflix. Good Wifi.

1 minute walk to the beach. You can arrange transportation to and from the airport with the hotel ($25 USD). Breakfast is included. The hotel is new & modern. They have smart TV, so you can watch Netflix & Prime. They provide filtered drinking water. My room was overlooking a small restaurants & shops.

I would suggest having a place to hang wet swimsuits. Note: they have music on until 9:30 pm. We have asked to turn it down once. It was done immediately. However, it depends where your room is located. You might not be disturbed by it. Also, they have some rooms close to a pub. I would suggest double checking a noise level before booking a room, if that is a concern to you.

I love the location and price. Amenities look like new! Beds were very nice, and rooms are nice as well.

I didn't like the cleaning staff, bit rude and felt like they could use a vacum to clean sand in rooms.

Location, location, location. La Placita Inn is in the middle of West Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The Inn is modest. It's not a high end property, but it is a very clean and comfortable property with an incredible staff that goes above and beyond. Our room was spacious, very clean and had an updated bathroom/shower which was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues with the heat or humidity with the AC and fan. Very comfortable. There are much nicer properties on the beach in West Bay, but for the money, La Placita Inn more than delivered and the staff was fantastic. Highly recommend La Placita Inn.

Honestly, hard to say. We had some confusion with our airport pick up but that was as much me as it was the Inn. I'm being picky so I'd say there was nothing we didn't like.

Great staff, nice breakfast and close proximity to beach with pool access and beach chairs.

The little plaza sometimes has live music on weekends, which is wonderful but a bit loud for our room right next to the musicians.

super friendly staff and great breakfast. right on the center of west bay and walking distance to everything. clean, pool and beach use, hot water and great WiFi.

needed help from maintenance twice with the safety deposit box
