Tropical Villa - Weligama

Special shoutout to the new junior member of staff who was very friendly, helpful and checked us in. Thank you! Fantastic facilities - huge room, AC, shower and toilet, pool was also available. Close to Weligama beach and easy to get to Mirissa and Matara from there. Mirissa Beach is fantastic!

Not a negative but it’s down a small side street which isn’t very well lit at night. But no issues!

Hele aardige mensen, het was lekker rustig en alles was schoon en netjes.

Hotel met prachtig zwembad op loop afstand van het strand. Je hebt nauwelijks last van het drukke Weligama of de grote hoofdweg. De kamer was ruim, schoon met een mooie badkamer en een hele goed douche.

Het was fijn en ik heb absoluut geen klachten maar we hebben heel veel moois gezien dat een stuk goedkoper was. Je betaalt wellicht voor het prachtige zwembad en het vriendelijke personeel, die (bijna) 24/7 voor je klaar staat.

The room was very big, it had a mini kitchen and the location is very good. Also, the owner and staff is very nice and helpful

The cleanliness for us was a disaster, we had spiders under our bed, the toilet was not very clean as well. Additionally, we had a family of Leprosy stay with us in the room there was a hole in the sealing that had Leprosys living in it. There are soooo many ants in the room and bathroom as well. I understand that Sri lanka has so many creatures and insects but at least spray the room with a good insect repellent and clean under the bed we literally were living in a nightmare in this room everyday we find something we stayed in Sri lanka for 10 days and we never had this issue inside a room before so if you’re okai with insects in the room the go for this hotel it would be a good option but if you’re like us and cannot handle insects and Leprosy then definitely find another hotel! Lastly, I have to mention that when we told the owner about the cleanliness and the insects he reacted right away and cleaned the room but I expect it already clean and I highly advise him to make sure it doesn’t have anymore Leprosies

The room was spacious with a large shared balcony. Excellent facilities such as a large fridge-freezer, separate sink for washing/food preparation and comfy bed. The pool and garden were lovely. The hotel is quiet and full of wildlife but very close to shops restaurants and cafes. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. The staff Kumara, Teran and Ruckshan were kind and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be.

Totul. A fost una din cele mai ok cazari avute in tot sejurul in Sri lanka. Personalul extrem de amabil, ne-au ajutat la orice ora cu zambetul pe buze. Recomand cu drag!
