The location was fine.

The room was dirty. The sheet were thread bare. The towels and pillow cases were filthy. The floors were so dirty. The door to the patio was broken and the door wouldn’t close so I had to change rooms.

Staff was accommodating and very friendly, except Manager. He didn’t speak any English and was obvious he didn’t care. Michael & Gerald were very helpful during in our monthly stay. We would stay here again, if they improved their breakfast. Most days food was cold or slightly warm. Same items; pancakes & eggs or eggs & dry toast. Everything precooked! The breakfast advertised on web is misleading. They need to step up the breakfast game. We started to eat breakfast at other places and found, it’s not a Roatan thing, it due to laziness and cheap way out.

Nice, large rooms with a lot of space. A/C included. Good location with best price for West Bay compared to other hotels. Beautiful archtecture. Clean beds.

You can notice, the hotel has it's best days in the past. A lot of equipment is getting old or falling apart. Breakfast you can eat if you are not member of Gornod Ramsey family otherwise you'll be swearing around with each bite taken, its just to fill your stomach, dont expect great culinary journey. In all, if this place would get a renovation and taken care of a bit more, then it could easily compete with all the beach resorts close by.

The only good thing about it was the location

Everything from the hospitality to the cleanliness. The person in the lobby wasn't very friendly or welcoming. And the room smelled so bad and the sheets had stains and it just felt very musty. The balcony door didn't lock and we let the front person know but they never did anything about it so the whole time we stayed there it felt a bit unsafe sleeping with the door unlocked. The beds only have one pillow and the sheets were dirty. The hotel looks very nice online but once you get there you can tell it's rundown and old.
