Trawden Arms Community Owned Pub

The young lady who greeted us from the bar on arrival and was there the next morning for breakfast was so nice! After camping for a week, being able to get checked in early, get shown to our room, shower and eat all within an hour was just amazing!

It was a little loud due to some live music in the pub but it stopped abruptly at 10pm and we managed to get a good nights sleep

Boulsworth. Ground floor room in adjacent accommodation building a few metres from the pub. Beautiful room, industrial/modern look. Very comfortable. Pleasant staff. Lovely food, both the meal we had in the evening and the breakfast as part of the stay.

Minor points only. Perhaps something in the shower into which to place toiletries. Check out is 1030 yet breakfast served at weekend between 1000 and 1200 on weekends. We packed up and vacated room before breakfast which lasted until 1040. Would be nice to have some time back in room after breakfast before checking out.

The room is great and comfortable, very clean and the pub serves a good range of beers and has good outdoor seating and is well laid out inside. The food when it is on, is very good and reasonably priced and good choice.

They didn't inform us that the kitchen was closed until 2 hours before checking in. Crafty not telling us until it was too late to cancel. We booked there specifically because the food on a previous visit was fantastic. Also they only do limited menu of Pizzas on Mondays which is also not stated in the information about the hotel. There was nowhere local to go to eat and a very limited choice for takeaway delivery on Just Eat.

could do with a second chair and more choice at breakfast i.e.: - fruit and scrambled eggs.
