So relaxing and quiet on the deck watching the river flow yet close enough to walk thru town easily!

It was perfect for our trip! We were with family and friends and we all loved the facilities! Loved everything especially the hot tub!

Sofa a bit worn for comfort but clean

We loved the location right at the end of town with all of Winthrop easily walkable from the cabin. There's a nice deck with a view over the river, we were able to leave a window cracked and hear the flowing water which was very nice. The hot tub was clean and relaxing with excellent views of the night sky. The cabin itself was very spacious and well furnished with lots of thoughtful little extras and plenty of towels. The nice ladies at the front desk even recommended a local pizza restaurant which was absolutely fantastic. Overall this cabin exceeded our expectations in many ways.

The bedding seemed like it certainly could have been cleaner as we found lots of long hairs and some little bits of dirt and leaves in the sheets and in between blankets. Shower heads worked great but could use a good cleaning. Wifi was intermittent during our stay, which could be problematic as cell coverage isn't great in Winthrop. The beds themselves were a little tired, it felt like some very old extra-firm mattresses were covered with a foam topper. The sheets and pillow cases were not the softest or most comfortable things like I've come to expect from even much cheaper hotels. Some of the furnishings seemed a little dated, however that could just be rustic cabin aesthetic. Couches, comforters, shower heads, and grout lines in the kitchen and bathrooms could use a professional cleaning probably. All of these small critiques are just observations, none are deal breakers, but I wanted to bring them to light since the listing describes this accommodation as a five star establishment.
