Beautiful place with an amazing location a very long history and really lovely and helpful hosts. All the rooms and cabins differ from each other but all of them are charming. Don't expect anything fancy but there aren't many such places left in Zipolite

Great location. The area was breezy and quiet. It felt like an authentic old school Zipolite beach experience. The huts were rustic, but spacious.

There are lots of stone steps to climb. I actually liked the exercise, as long as you are in good shape it's fine.

We loved Lo Cosmico! Violeta was an extremely helpful and wonderful host. She organized a tour for us and offered plenty of recommendations. Sleeping with the sounds of the waves every night was great. Being right on the beach is such a treat. It's definitely a bit more rustic than other options in Zipolite, but that's the charm of Lo Cosmico. It is one of the (if not THE) first hotels on the beach, so you feel like you're on a true getaway during the good old days (aka before we were born lol)

Lo Cosmico was quiet and gorgeous. The wooden cabins are rustic and simple and we had 9 days of totally chilled out beach life. Violeta and her family were super friendly and helpful. Thank you! We’ll be back.

Everything! It was exactly what I was looking for… I had the best 10 days there and I’ll come back again (soon). And thx again to Violeta and her Dad, you guys are a gem, you are the nicest hosts possible.

I liked EVERYTHING and I hope it will stay like this forever… but I know that this place won’t be everyones cup of tea. If u like the simple life and being close to nature then u will love it but if u expect a proper hotel (room) then you better book a stay next door at El Alquimista.
