The staff are so accomodating and attentive. Great breakfast offering and the location was superb.

Personally, we loved this hotel. It did everything we needed to relax and unwind. No pretentious, just a lovely family running a great hotel. Pool was the best ever, most day had it to ourselves. Could walk straight into the lovely old town for dinner. Two supermarkets around the corner. Rooms had a kettle and fridge and we made our own lunches to eat by the pool, buying goats cheese from the neighbouring butcher. Coffee on tap and rooms were cleaned everyday and spotless. Very much worth the drive from Athens. If you are over 50 it's like the holidays you had in Greece as a child. So special.

The hotel is in a restored classic Mani building in a great location - the main square, one block from the beautiful old town. It has a lovely pool and the rooms are comfortable with nice sheets and towels.

Note, there is no longer a restaurant or roof terrace bar. Although the family owners were very friendly and helpful recommending a good place for dinner (Barba Petros). When we stayed in early June we •seemed to be the only guests and the buffet style breakfast was a bit unappealing, with some of the cakes, and jams looking like they were set out days ago. Having said that, there was some good herb omelette.

First time visiting was such an enjoyable experience. No restaurant at the hotel, but located within a few steps of several traditional Greek tavernas located around the square. Lively in the evening with local families using the square as a central meeting place. The atmosphere created by the family running the hotel is very friendly and they could not have been more helpful, when asked to make a couple of small repairs. The rooms are not the most modern but have charm and character. As a base from which to explore this part of the Mani region it was second to none. Breakfast is very good.
