ibis Bengaluru City Centre - An Accor Brand

We stayed at Ibis Bangalore City Centre for two weeks, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The reception staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention has to go to Birajit from the security team. He made me feel genuinely welcome every single day. He always took the time to speak with me outside, regardless of what he was doing, assisted when translation was needed, and greeted me with a handshake. While all of the security staff were good, Birajit stood out and regularly made my day better, whether it was morning, afternoon, or night. This is something that both staff and guests could easily notice from our interactions. There were moments in the city where the atmosphere didn’t feel particularly warm or inviting to me as a Black American foreigner, but every interaction with him completely changed that. I last stayed at the hotel in 2024, and Birajit was already there then. His attitude and level of service have not changed at all since that time. He is a great example of what excellent customer service should look like, and I mean that wholeheartedly. I also want to highlight Mubeen from the guest services team. One morning I experienced severe food poisoning, and Mubeen was among the first to respond at my room, alongside Birajit and others. He helped get me into a wheelchair, coordinated quickly so I could reach Vydehi hospital within minutes, and when the cab drove off without waiting for him, he ran behind it on foot all the way to the hospital to ensure everything was handled properly. At the hospital, he spoke with staff to make sure I received the necessary care and stayed until I was stable. He later brought suitable food from the hotel and continued to check in on me, while also reassuring my partner throughout the situation. The level of care, hospitality, and dedication shown by both Birajit and Mubeen, along with the rest of the team, is a major reason I would absolutely choose to stay here again.

The bathroom door needs to be fixed, as it was very loud, creaky and squeaky. This would wake me or my partner in the evening when one of us would use the restroom. Unfortunately, that was never fixed (room 701).

The hotel is located at a convenient location for anyone travelling to central Bangalore.

The amenities in the room was not checked before my arrival. I had mentioned on my booking that there will be 2 adults and the room was set up for 1 person only. No towels, toiletries and tea/coffee for the 2nd person. The room phone wasn't working, the kettle was sparking when switching on and the AC had some issue and it wasn't cooling. All of this had to rectified after we got into the room.

朝食の選択肢が多く、味も良かった。部屋は非常に広く、清潔だった。アメニティーもきちんと揃えられていた。ホテルスタッフの対応も良い。エレベーターは宿泊フロア、ロビー、バーのあるフロア以外には停止しないようになっていて、セキュリティーもしっかりしている。
