Sakura House

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the facilities were quite good. From the rooftop, I could see the top of the Mahabodhi Temple spire and look down at the surrounding temples. ​I really appreciate the free room upgrade; it was such a kind gesture. Being able to take a nice hot shower was also a huge plus!

I had a really pleasant stay at Sakura House. The place is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained, making it easy to feel at home from the start. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, perfect for both short and longer stays. The staff/host was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with any questions or needs, which made the experience even better. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby transport, shops, and local spots. Overall, Sakura House offers great value for money and a comfortable, hassle-free stay. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to other travelers.

Only the location.

Only the hotel's location is good. But there are other hotels nearby or a little farther away, at the same price, with much better facilities. It was really disappointing. The room light went off around 11 pm, and nobody came. The bed cover and other things were very unclean. The bathroom floor was very unclean, and the water do not pass easily.

Location is wonderful, city center, yet not too loud. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. The dog also :) Room had everything to survive, even a kettle.

The bed was too hard, but not tragic.

My partner really enjoyed his stay at Sakura House. Ravi was extremely friendly and generous, even upgrading his room to a view of the Mahabodhi Temple. It’s centrally located with great walkability to everywhere in Bodghaya including the temple. Food was fresh and convenient on the rooftop, room was very clean with everything you need.

The staff are very attentive and accommodating. Very helpful with all aspects of my 3 week stay. Location was perfect for my requirements. It was my second time returning to this guest house. Very happy.
