Sakura House

Visited Bodh Gaya with friend and loved our stay in Sakura. Got ourselves a room where we saw beautiful sunrises and the tip of the mahabodhi temple. It's fabulous compared to the price you pay. Quite safe for female travellers and the beds are super comfortable to wind down after a long day covering different monasteries in Bodh Gaya which are situated roughly within 1km radius, which is super convenient!!

Fabulous people. Great place central location. Our driver Vijay was exceptional. Dipu the owner and his staff so friendly. It felt like staying with friends 🙏

The staff were so friendly. Dipu the owner organised a driver for us from Varanasi to do the four Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Vijay our driver was also very helpful and knowledgeable and helped us in countless ways. We have made new friends.

Clean and welcoming

Excelent location, the room was very clean and confortable. The service was very very good and personal so nice. They also helped me organizing a tour to Nalanda and Ragjar with an excellent driver

Extremely friendly staff; we greatly enjoyed our stay there. My partner especially liked how homely it was and thought it the best accommodation throughout our whole trip with great value for money. Prime location and we were upgraded to a bigger room on arrival. The breakfast was homely and filling too. Thank you Sakura House, and we hope to visit you again soon! :)

Everything was outstanding. The owner and the staff were so friendly that you become part of their extended family. For Japanese people this is the only place to stay. I will come again and tell my relativres to visit. Everyone is so nice to the extent that you will become addictive to their charm and the charm of Bohd Gaya. They are very versatile in their tour arrangements and can do various tours to see Bohd Gaya and Nalanda and even long distance trips to visit the 4 sacred cities of India including Nepal, if their resources are available and at great prices. So you should ask for anything before you visit.

Everything was wonderful including the sight seeing arranged for me. But while it is customary to sit on the rear seat of a motor cycle up to three somes without helmets, if you are like me an old person nearly in the 60s and want to avoid risk, tell the owner you want a car or a tuk tuk to pick you up, which is what I did for mid to long distance.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. The morning sun from the rooftop restaurant is amazing.

The owner, Dip, and the staff are super friendly and always happy to help with anything related to your trip. You can ask them anything!
