Hotel Fontana Olente

.Looked so nice, we wanted a pool, parking and a restaurant, which we got suggestions for through booking. Low "rural" as described. At first, their directions led us completely wrong up into the city. then we finally arrived at the hotel, which was located between an apartment building and what looked like an abandoned premises. The hotel in the best GDR style....very helpful nice porter. The rooms smelled of smoke and generally seen their best days, however clean. tried to find the promised pool, but it turns out that it is not included in the hotel but belongs to the spa which costs extra! Gave up here....the food at the restaurant here was really good, understaffed so long waits for drinks and food. Very simple breakfast, but ok

The hotel is clean but quiet old. The elevators are coming slowly. The breakfast is limited and served by somebody due to corona measurements. It was nice to go into the pool which is nearby accessible through a tunnel

The hotel is a very nice and big hotel located within the village/countryside in Ferentino, that was a bit hard to find when referring to google maps as also the signs weren’t clear. I’ve booked a room and arrived at around 23:00 to find the room not very convenient, called the reception and the very helpful and attentive receptionist changed immediately to what I’d call a suite. Can’t say how much I liked it as was spacious with a small kitchenette, overall clean and with ok Amenities. Breakfast was ok. The hotel has a private parking lot which I find very useful. Also has a celebrations area outdoors and indoors.
