Hotel Montana SPA

Really good food to order at the restaurant at a fair price. Good staff if you are a local but not too sure for foreigners who need to communicate in English... Good location. Comfy bed & warm room. Clean enough room...

Breakfast was below average and exactly the same every day and also with limited fruit & veggies as well as no lactose free options... Some of the fruit was actually molding in the tray and I really missed some mustard to go with the sausages. The warming plates didn't work at the breakfast buffet so the food trays would go cold after 10-15 min and everything was unnecessarily soaked in oil. Bed sheets were too short and slipped down easily and also there were blood stains on the blanket but it has however definitely been washed just not properly enough to remove those types of stains. Window drapes were too short and didn't cover properly and the morrow LED strip stopped working at first touch. No table or chair and no fridge or safe box. Very thin walls and generally a very noisy hotel especially in the mornings. The sauna was ok but the steam room was basically stuck on some insane setting and no one could use it. The salt room had a weird smell and the tiles were comically slippery unless you bring your own rubber slippers.

Amazing location - beautiful nature, very close to the ski lift. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Active sauna.

The cleanliness of the rooms was questionable. The quality of the food could have been better, stale bread, over seasoned meat...

Beautiful view and clean air. Friendly staff in the SPA center and the café. Excellent game room with billiards and other entertainment facilities.

Restaurant staff was very unfriendly. We felt uncomfortable, as if the waiters didn’t even want to look at us. We have never felt like this anywhere else. Maybe it’s because most of the staff were 60+, and it seemed like they had no motivation left, but still — a small smile and a bit of kindness wouldn’t hurt, especially when working in a hotel. During our three-night stay, the room was never cleaned. No housekeeper came even once, and we had to ask for towels, toilet paper, and other necessities ourselves. The room was very cold, as was the entire hotel, except for the café area.
