Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was the first time we had an A-la-cart menu to choose from, rather than a buffet for the warm breakfast. The food was fantastic. The restaurant is on the the 16th floor which offers some really good views of PTA. The room was well appointed, very neat and modern.

I loved the room. The most amount of storage I have come across for a standard room. Koi on sixteenth good restaurant lovely views. Easy menu. Good quality food and beverages. Cleaning of rooms and room service fantastic. Your bath products aromatic and sensual. Nokuthula at the front desk was welcoming and warm.

Unfortunately after a late night out I was awakened to arguing at 7 an from the hotel corridors. Perhaps speaks to the formula of The residence apartments and hotel. I as a customer coming for a hotel experience my expectations were for a serene experience. Now I cant speak to for residence seeing revolving faces in their corridors to me it doesn't give me a 'home' feeling. One of front desk attendants was/is standoffish. I got the impression we were bothering her. I didn't get her name. (I think at least 3 studs in each ear). The pigeons at the pool on the sixteenth floor nesting in the water. Unsanitary and no wonder no one plunged.
