Location and availability

Where do I start. I'm sorry to say, I didn't stay. I love old, classic buildings but this was grim. The lift is very old, small and didn't fill me with confidence. I was on the 5th (top) floor, which was very dark. As soon as I walked in to room I was hit by an awful damp smell. So, I opened the window fully... uk HSE would have a field day with that! I then went to the bathroom which was the source of the odour, being windowless and without vents. I sat in the room for 20mins and just felt all my life and energy drain away. I was offered another room but I just couldn't stay. Sorry. I was very tired and upset that I didn't ask for a refund and went to a local hostel instead.
