Carpet in bar smelt like urine

The bar, restaurant and bistro and beer garden.

The rooms and amenities are extremely poor. I generally stay at local hotels and the accommodation in this one rates poorly.

Location, food, friendly staff

No bins in the room and no shelf in shower to put your things. Also one of the shower rooms has poor drainage, so water remained on the floor.

Centre of town

Needs attention to the basics..get the air con working,a new high speed fan,a lick of paint.And somewhere to put all the rubbish in the shower and toilet area.

Clean, good service, food amazing

The staff were lovley. The price was reasonable and conveniently located near our required venue. The kitchen staff were charming, and the food was enjoyable.

Good quality continental breakfast. Aircon. Nice common room we played card games in. Restaurant downstairs.

Needs some maintenance - of the four men's toilet stalls, one of the door locks was broken and another toilet was barred. Toaster was broken and needed to be manually held on. Small fixes would add another rating point.
