Convenient location. The history of the place. Nice and quiet after 10pm resulting in good night's sleep. Safe place and small shops close by for coffee etc

The locks to the toilet and showers in the men's require repairs. They do not work,

Its a lovely pub/hotel and the bistro is good. The garden is a pleasant place to spend time.

The room had a noisy ceiling fan, no bedside light (although there was a kind of lamp stand with no bulb, just bare electrical connectors), and the aircon did not seem to allow for a cooling cycle. Shared toilet/bathrooms are in limited supply, given one seems permanently shut off.

I enjoyed just being able to go to the little kitchen and help myself to some cereal or toast. It was simple but adequate and convenient.

The floor in the ladies shower collected pools of water so didn’t dry out.

Badly in need of a paint and upgrade of bathroom facilities. Some new carpet wouldn’t go astray.
