La Petite Gorge, Hôtel & Restaurant Todra Gorge

Great location, warm and welcoming hosts. It was a pleasure to learn them, I would like to come back sometimes with my friends.

It's cold in winter in basement room, but in summer should be OK.

The room had a really nice view and that is the reason why we booked it. It had a lot of light and you could watch the sunrise nicely. The food we had was also great and the staff was very very friendly and helpful when we asked for help for finding a nice hike, etc.

We went there in december so it was pretty cold int he room. There was a small heater but it took hours to make the room warm. This is not the fault of the hosts but it affected our level of comfort. After telling the host we received extra blankets and some tea to get warm.

The place is outside between the valley with the palm grove and the gorges so without much driving you can have a scroll through the extensive gardens under the palm trees, and you can have a wonderful 4h mountain hike.

During our two week road trip in Morocco this was the coldest place, partially due to the altitude, partially to open doors. As it was Friday we ordered a couscus, but honestly it was the worst we ever had in our life. The chicken tajine with lemon and olive, as well as the berber pizza were good. At the neighbor table someone ate pasta he didn't like, but well, we were in Morocco and not in Italy. I would give another hotel a try next time, although other reviews of this place were very positive.

The owner and his family are incredibly lovely. His two sons took us on a walk along the river which was very cute. I recommend staying here because it’s a very personable experience. The beds are very comfy too.

The dinner is amazing. So friendly personel and you could choose from a great variety of dishes. Very helpful staff that would really go the extra distance to help you with everything from cooling your beverages and recommending activities in the area.

Would be nice with som chairs and a small table on the balcony. The cleaning in the corners and window shelves and the quality and cleanliness of the sheets could have been better. In my opinion, considering the price of 1 night, this is not a big thing but still something that could be improved. Also a bottle of water in the room would have been nice.
