Everything, the warmth and friendliness of everyone at the lovely little hotel. Amazing, clean rooms, beautiful massive beds and great bathroom. Fully functional shared kitchen, and the pool is a beauty. It's an absolute bargain and close to a couple of beautiful little beaches (jungle & Ketature) Located 2 mins from the train station & bus stop. Everything is easy. You will love this place. Shan helps you with everything that you need. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is a must. The location is perfect. You will enjoy here.

Amazing place. New, clean, comfortable. The beds are big and confy, huge rooms, with ac and fan. Really nice garden with a swimming pool. The staff is really helpful, kind and friendly.

I loved everything here. Great stuff and location. Huge room with the area for relax in the common area. Clean and close to restaurants. There is a bus stop for buses that can take you right to Kataragama or Colombo right on front od this place

Everything perfect!!! The room was so nice, clean and AC new and quiet. The room was on the 3rd floor and there is also dining room, living room and small kitchen. That was beautuful view to the pool and garden. Next the house there is train track so for someone could be noisy but we liked it. The owner and his crew realy look after this place. Well done guys!! We highhy recommend!!

The room was very clean nad big. the pool was also very nice.

the location si far away from the welligama and also from restaurants. the big problem were trains, there is railway next to the house. It is very noisy. not go with baby here

Shan Star was the best hotel during our journey through Sri Lanka. We stayed 6 nights (instead of 4 nights planned), because we felt like home. The garden and the pool are so nice and it is really quiet. The place is in Kumbalgama - so between Weligama and Midigama, with a short Tuk Tuk ride to a lot of restaurants and beaches. A short walk away is a cute small beach. The hosts were incredible - they made our laundry, played a lot with our little son and surprised us with sweets because of Singal New year. We can highly recommend Shan Star for families and anyone who looks for a beautiful place with refreshing pool and really friendly people. Thank you so much for everything!!

Shan is a freindly person and he welcomed and treated us as his friends, place is quiet and calm ideal place for relax holidays
