We had a wonderful stay at Rise Bed and Breakfast. The highlight was defintely the beautiful staff - Amila, Chathuri, Sampath and Ramya, who made us feel so welcome and were just so genuine and kind, always with big smiles. The restaurant downstairs has great (and very authentic!) Italian food and the breakfast was fantastic too. It was a short walk to the beach and we could easily access our surf classes at Lucky Surf (I highly recommend that place too, in particular my coach, Janaka, who was the best surf teacher I have ever found). A massive thank you to the team at Rise - you made our stay so special!

The absolutely amazing staff were the highlight of this stay! But also, it’s in the perfect location, lovely and clean amenities with delicious breakfast options as well as Italian cuisine restaurant.

The staff are super friendly, breakfast was lovely, clean room with mosquito net. Close to beach. Had pizza restaurant of an evening downstairs- highly recommend to eat there. Beach is 5 minute walk of that. Location is just outside of the hustle - perfect

Honestly a great place but bring ear plugs and eye mask - our room had the train track right outside the window but trains do stop through night. Light from air con unit was bright so would recommend an eye mask.

"Brilliant"

The staff were so friendly and kind, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The restaurant downstairs was great, the pizza was so tasty! The location was also perfect, and the room was really big, I’d definitely recommend this place to anybody.
