Hotel Sunbird

It is located near the national park. They suggested parking the car near the hotel and we kept sweets at the hotel just to prevent them from sun heat. The staff was supportive in that case.

Staff was not courteous during our stay. We didn't have dinner, no snacks were provided in dinner only main course. They were charging for an extra water bottle over 2 bottles, only providing RO water on our request. We ordered two papad in the room when we had nothing in the dinner, at the time of billing they asked us to pay and later said ..ok we are only taking the charges mentioned on booking.com.

The curtains were transparent and everything from outside was visible. Owner was arrogant and refused to do anything about it. When i requested him to double curtains using curtains from the adjacent room which was unoccupied , he arrogantly said that no one before us had complained about this and he won't do anything. Also the hotel has no parking, cars were parked on the road. No kettle and tea/coffee material in the room as well, one has to order this.

Entire system was in a disarray.

Hotel Sunbird is a total mess. The food is a letdown – it ends too early, it's pricey, and the quality is terrible. The meal schedule feels like being on a strict prison visitation routine. Noise and dirt are everywhere, with constant construction, dusty rooms, and questionable bathrooms. The buffet serves leftovers that might make you turn green. Don't waste your money here; find a better place to sleep. Steer clear of this expensive letdown.

Construction going on. Limited food choices. Dinner timings from 7.15 to 9.15 enforced strictly. Breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30. Not recommended.

Calm and quiet, comfortable stay. Even though construction was going on, there was no disturbance or discomfort

Proximity to the sanctuary, helped us to come back to the comfort of the room due to fog in the early morning and go back to enjoy the birds once fog cleared

1. Untrained staff. The front desk manager seems to be lost and have to give him instructions twice. 2. Poor customer service. We requested if we could take our dinner plates from the restaurant and sit in the garden around bon fire as it was cold. but the inconsiderate owner declined. We wanted to order an extra dish during dinner time and the manager said their kitchen cannot cater to impromptu requests and we should have told them much more in advance. We found this strange as it defeats the purpose of having a restaurant if guests cannot order more food during dinner or lunch time. 3. Property under renovation. There is construction happening on the property and the loud noise lasted the entire day. It was a nuisance.
