Its location is amazing, the room I was in had an amazing view

Couch wasn’t comfortable and the construction was noisy at times

It was a great location. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were all lovely and helpful. Camps Bay is a nice area and the beachfront with all the restaurants was 3 mins walk away. The style of the hotel is really nice. Very South Beach Miami Pastel colours. Nice boutique touches all around. Cosy bar area with squishy sofas. Pretty terraced balcony. Looks out over the nearby beach ( one road away ). When the renovation is finished I think it will be great. But …………

There was renovation work being carried out. It was noisy. We mentioned it to the Management team and really thought that we were due a partial rebate/refund. The noise started at 8am in the room right next door to ours. It was very loud and unacceptable but though our concerns were recognised and they said future guests wouldn’t be affected , nothing was done during our visit to give some service recovery. So much about the Royal Boutique was really really good and I would be happy to give it a much higher rating if Management had offered us a small something to make up for the noise during our stay.
