Beautiful period property with grounds. The staff were very pleasant.

We weren't informed that a loud disco for a school prom would be happening when we booked,. If we had been informed we would definitely have chosen a better time to go. Our small room was right over the glass roofed disco area! I feel the hotel didn't want to inform us even though they must have had the disco booking for some time. The room was clean and tidy with several mirrors for some reason, however there was nowhere to hang our clothes other than one plastic chair! Plenty of BLING but no common sense!

Beautiful 15 century manor

Bedroom was dirty and dusty and noisy Wasn’t well cleaned

Stunning hotel set in very peaceful grounds. Very welcoming with a roaring log fire even in June. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Arranged an early check in for us. Bed was very comfortable and we had tea and coffee facilities. Lots of choice at breakfast and the hot food was cooked fresh.

Some mould in the shower but understand this is unavoidable in a room with no window.

Nothing, maybe upgrade some power points in the bedrooms to accommodate USB chargers but appreciate it’s an old place

Beautiful ambience in the main lounge area created by an open fire and walls that could tell a thousand tales.

Very grand from the outside & the stately grounds,inside was a little tatty,we had a suite which was a good size,massive comfortable bed,bathroom(bath tub)was a little tired,nice view from the bedroom of the River Ribble & fields

It needed a good spring clean.

Beautiful location, attended for a wedding. Breakfast was great.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was below standard considering we had paid £270 for 2 nights.
