The main drawback of this accommodation was the poor sound insulation. My initial room faced a busy road and the windows provided almost no protection from traffic noise, which remained clearly audible throughout the night. The walls also seemed very thin, making it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms. As a result my sleep quality was significantly affected on the first night. On the positive side, the reception staff were very helpful and after I raised the issue, they moved me to a quieter room for the following night, which I appreciated. However, the overall sound insulation of the building still appears to be a weakness that noise-sensitive guests should take into consideration before booking.
