Very friendly staff, spacious room, nice atmosphere

The address on Booking was wrong, we had some exciting phone conversations in French, but found the hotel fairly quickly.

Spacious room, warm on a cold day. Pleasant reception. Exceptional restaurant.

Large room sizes. Friendly staff. Good location for our plans. Coffee machine. Restaurant next door was a highlight of our trip

Lighting in the room was very poor. Just a couple of mismatched LED spot lights and no natural light. Felt very stark and either very dark and shadowy in corners or too bright under the spots. Quite a stark room overall with basic functional furniture and décor. There was also a constant hum from an electrical junction box within the room.

Excellent staff very friendly warm atmosphere. Restaurant superb.

We've used this hotel a couple of times and it's now our default hotel for visiting local attractions. Sadly we had to delay our trip for reasons of a family bereavement but they kindly cancelled without the usual cost allowing us to rebook a few weeks later.

The food here is exceptional but sadly the restaurant was shut the week we stayed.

Good value dinner, good breakfast, friendly people, stored our bikes safely in the restaurant.
