Nothing to like

We are very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend anyone to stay here. The room and bathroom were extremely dirty — completely unsuitable for guests. The photos shown online are misleading; they look good, but the reality is very bad The room was too small and in poor condition. The floor was full of hair, the pillows and bed sheets were used and not clean, and the curtains and windows had never been cleaned. The bathroom was shocking — the commode was so dirty it made us feel sick. 🤮 This is the first time we have ever seen such a bad hotel. Totally unacceptable.

Don’t let the central city location fool you! You would never imagine such a peaceful, lush environment existed right in the heart of the city. As soon as you walk in, the ambience shifts into a serene, heritage-style escape. The food was, hands down, the best we have had so far in Sri Lanka—absolutely delicious and authentic. The staff were wonderful and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. To top it off, the rooms were incredibly comfy and provided the perfect rest after a day of exploring. A true oasis!

The staff was friendly. A convenient location. The team went out of their way to help us with a few requirements.

Gimanhala has changed a lot since we visited last. A lot changes have come and now the service standards to the total value was amazing. I really liked the Front Office team and the restaurant team for making it feel like home.

Das Hotel hat einen schönen Pool, an dem man sich entspannen konnte. Ich konnte unkompliziert den Aufenthalt um eine Nacht verkürzen.

Das Bad war nicht sauber, die Toilettenbrille war gelblich, die Fußmatte schmutzig. Das ganze Bad benötigt eine Renovierung.

Очень грязное белье, стены обшарпанные. Состояние отеля оставляет желать лучшего. На полотенцах волосы.
