Sandy Beach Bungalows

Location was okay as it is right next to the beach, although the better sandy beaches are 100m further down the coast. Bed was comfy and the bathroom was large.

The main issue experienced was when the staff tried to add their 3% charge which is added to foreign debit or credit cards. My wife is Indonesia and wanted to use the local domestic bank BCA but the staff were adamant that the 3% addition should still be added. For reference, no other bar or restaurant on the whole island added an addition cost for using the BCA card - and we visited many!

The location is right next to the beach with many sea turtles which was lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful. Lovely to sit out by the water in the mornings.

The room was quite outdated and smaller than expected. The soft sand at the front of the location made it difficult to ride bikes and carry luggage through, we weren't expecting this and it made getting around on bikes more difficult than anticipated.

AL ESTAR EL BAÑO CON UNA PARTE ABIERTA ES FACIL QUE ENTRE ALGUN ANIMALILLO TIPO GECKO, CON SU CANTO NOCTURNO.

Ottima posizione proprio di fronte al mare (e alle tartarughe) e a pochi passi da tanti ristoranti e negozietti. Staff molto gentile. L'estetica della struttura in generale era molto graziosa.

Appena arrivate abbiamo trovato la tenda del letto con feci di geco (fresche e vecchie), oltre ad essere comunque estremamente sporca e macchiata dappertutto. Nonostante lo abbiamo segnalato, e lo staff abbia prontamente rimosso le feci, la tenda non è stata cambiata ed abbiamo quindi dovuto dormire con la tenda sporca che ci si appoggiava addosso. In generale la stanza era abbastanza sporca, c'erano ragnatele e polvere ovunque sulle pareti, in bagno e sotto il letto. Ovviamente il problema non è il geco ma la scarsa pulizia; siamo persone abituate ad alloggiare in strutture anche di scarsa fascia, ma l'igiene è sempre garantita. Lo staff è comunque stato molto reattivo nel supportarci in ogni esigenza, seppure in maniera a nostro avviso superficiale. In ultimo, come già segnalato in altre recensioni, non c'era nulla su cui appendere i vestiti, né un armadio né dei banali ganci. In un posto in cui l'umidità non permette agli indumenti di asciugarsi all'aperto, avere modo di farli asciugare all'interno è fondamentale.

The staff were friendly and engaging. They were ready to help with whatever you needed. The location was incredible, reef snorkeling out your doorstep.
