Sandy Beach Bungalows

We loved our stay at Sandy Beach Bungalows on Gili Air. The location was perfect. We swam with turtles and explored the reef right out the front of the bungalows, which was such a highlight. The staff were fantastic and made us feel really welcome. Our room was great, the bed was comfortable, and the mosquito net was in good condition. We also really appreciated the little drying rack on the porch for our togs and towels. We hired the electric moped-style bikes from them too, which was a fun way to explore the island. Breakfast was yummy and a good size. We also enjoyed dinner there one night too. When it was time to leave, they arranged for a fast boat to pick us up and take us back to Lombok. It worked out cheaper than getting a horse and cart to the port and then catching a fast boat from there, so that was really handy. The swimming pool was lovely too, and it was a nice touch having towels provided. Highly recommend staying here.
