Das Frühstück

Die Email des Hotels mit den Zugangsdaten konnte und kann ich bis jetzt nicht öffnen. Anrufe wurden um 23 Uhr nicht entgegengenommen, auf meine Email nicht reagiert. Ins Hotel reingekommen bin ich durch den helpdesk booking.com (Frau Sabrina S) Aber spätestens zum Frühstück hätte eine Reaktion seitens des Hotels kommen müssen

The hotel is new an located near the main road, clean and contemporary interior and very elegant restaurant. The bathroom exceptionally clean and spacious. I stayed for 2 nights but the room was made even after first night while I was at work. Absolutely not necessary and not expected, but pleasant nevertheless.

The facilities were fine, but the interaction with some of the restaurant/bar staff felt unexpectedly blunt. They didn’t smile, avoided eye contact, and responded with very short phrases like “ok” while walking past. From an English‑speaking guest’s perspective, this can come across as rude or dismissive. However, I believe this is more related to local communication style than intentional unfriendliness. In Latvia, service interactions can be more straightforward and task‑focused, without the extra politeness or small talk that many international guests might expect. On the positive side, the receptionist was extremely helpful and reacted immediately when I asked for some medicine. That level of responsiveness was appreciated and showed genuine care. In summary, the hotel itself is fine, but guests who are used to warmer or more expressive service styles should be aware of the cultural differences in communication.

Viešbučio kambarys švarus, jaukus, patogus. Vonios kambarys erdvus.

Pusryčiai buvo skanūs, buvo iš ko rinktis. Vis dėlto būtų puiku, jei pagrindinis pusryčių patiekalas – kiaušiniai – būtų siūlomas kelių skirtingų paruošimo būdų.
