Antonie Hotel****superior

Excellent food service (breakfast & dinner) with wide variety of choices. Hotel is very nicely designed and there is almost an urge to make a photo here and there ;) pool is great, saunas too. Nice parking area, very safe place.

Hotel is a really great place but has one slight terrible problem: keys and doors. We got locked in the room just past dinner and there was absolutely nobody to call or assist us, reception stops working at 8pm. We were left with only option to write an email (haha) that we are locked in the room due to no key and shitty keycards they use. Even in the morning nobody opened our email so we had to call at 8:10am the reception where we finally got a lady that saved us from the room. Next day we got stranded in the open (0'C temperature, only in bathrobe) as doors from the pool area locked behind us and keycard to the underground tunnel connection didn't work (non-working keycard was left in the room in the slot by the maids by mistake)... of course there was a phone to call the reception (around 6:30-7pm) and of course nobody picked up the phone even we called 3 times. Luckly we had a cellphone with us so we called the other part of family to come rescue us.... Mind that that is not a lonely case in this hotel: we saw at least 3 more couples experiencing same keycard problems, one lady even got stuck in the sauna area as her card didn't function! No wonder their SPA is closed after 8pm as ABSOLUTELY NOBODY is there to assist or offer support. While we were locked in the room (of course I missed the meeting in the morning and I've lost the contract soon after) we read the room instructions and they don't have a SINGLE emergency number to call. Only local police in firemen, but we didn't want to panic other guests so we didn't make any calls there... crazy. We didn't use the fire escape stairs as we would have to cross all other room balconies to reach it... and we read here on Booking one guy did that and an alarm went off during night and nobody silenced it until morning :) so, don't expect any support of staff after 8pm as there is nobody there... which is crazy for a hotel with 4 superior rating.
