Hotel La Campagnola

The woman who checked me in was very nice.

It’s about a half an hour walk to town, so you’re stuck eating in the restaurant unless you want to venture out. Service in the restaurant was not great. The room looked out over a parking lot. There was definitely black mold in the shower.

Really well located. The hotel was welcoming and perfect for what we required for our trip.

Breakfast was only served until 9am. For those that prefer to have a lie in it a little early.

Very helpful staff both on reception and in the restaurant. Clean and very comfortable room.

This is the perfect stop to break up the stage. The host Mario (he is called “Super Mario”) is charming and very welcoming! He made my stay perfect. I was also grateful for the restaurant next door. The food was excellent, and the staff was lovely. A solid choice for the Via Francigena, especially if you’re just starting out.

All was great. I advise pilgrims to look up the location. It’s not exactly on the way but doesn’t add any real distance.

Recently refurbished with bright rooms and very friendly staff. The restaurant next door is convenient for not having to take the car to go elsewhere
