Air temp inside room was good. Location of hotel was good. Several other points were bad or terrible.

Primary issue was the mold smell.

"Stay was decent felt over charged based on quality and location."

Property was clean and had all amenities we required. It was also located in a decent location not to far from many of the cities attractions though current road construction posed an issue.

It wasn’t what I had anticipated, for my wife’s birthday stay given them price point.

Clean rooms

Very loud hallway’s, the automatic door lock on the front door is super loud, the building is concrete cinderblocks so sound is amplified.

"Great stay but wait to check in was too long."

I don't care for pastry. Emily was great at answering questions. We arrived in Galveston way to early due to Southwest schedule. We had to get up at 330AM for a 415a pickup. A sail over a portion of the porch to give some shade would be helpful for those needing to wait. Attention to detail including bath products and linens was lovely .Location was good and I made a dinner reservation nearby at Saltwater Grill, Uber to our ship was good. Also used Rock the Ride , a Galveston company,, for transportation from Hobby and the cruise ship.

Granola bar or similar for breakfast. Shaded area on the porch,
