West Japan Kyoto Kiyomizu

Apartament pozitionat central, langa templul Kiyomizu-dera, statie de autobuz la cateva minute, am putut sa lasam bagajele si la check-in si la check-out. Baia impartita, dusul intr-o camera, wc incalzit in alta camera si chiuveta separat ceea ce a fost foarte confortabil pentru 4 persoane. Exista microunde si frigider, noi nu am folosit bucataria. Paturi confortabile si ff curate, prosoape la discretie, prize doar japoneze, fara adaptoare pentru Europa. In vecinatate e un 7Eleven.

We got a room upgrade to a beautiful ryokan style unit! The location is super strategic right in the heart of Gion, with convenience stores and food spots just a stone's throw away.

Felt very traditional. A real experience for a new visitor to Japan.

The only very minor issue was that there was no dryer to go with the washing machine.

More of an apartment setting but kept clean and in a great location. Air conditioner works well. I wasn’t expecting toiletries but they provided it. They have a washing machine (no dryer) and they provided laundry detergent. Bed mattress is very comfortable. Worth the money and will stay here again.

Towels were a bit thin and small. Need a rack to hang clothes to dry.

Este in Kyoto, aproape de templul Kiyomizu. Apartament foarte curat, dotat cu tot ce ai nevoie atat in baie cat si in bucatarie. Paturile foarte confortabile.

Totul a fost perfect

The room (more like a studio) is definitely above the Japan average in terms of size. We were really impressed with how big it was. It also has a small kitchen with basic equipment like plates, glasses, pans, and some appliances, even though we didn’t use it much. There is a washing machine in the room and it’s free to use, which is a big plus. They even provide detergent, which is a nice detail. The location is very central, right near the street leading up to Kiyomizu-dera, with many restaurants around and walking distance to Gion. The room was very clean overall. There is also a smoking booth on the ground floor — not very big, but functional.

There is no dryer, drying area, or even a rack to hang clothes after washing. It’s not a major issue, but you need to be a bit creative to manage drying. If you stay less than 5 days, there is no cleaning or tidying service during your stay. It feels more like staying in an apartment, which was fine for us, but might not suit everyone expecting hotel service.
