I am absolutely amazed by the concept of this hotel. It felt like a fairy tale. Everything is so thoughtfully designed – the interior, every little detail. I truly recommend it. The views are breathtaking. The hosts are kind and welcoming people. I chose this place by chance, but now I will be a regular guest every time I’m in Austria. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. It’s truly a magnificent concept.

Das Hotel Schloss Thannegg punktet absolut mit seiner besonderen Atmosphäre - der Charakter der alten Schloss-Birg ist überall angenehm zu spüren. Trotz der Geschichte wirkt alkes frisch - im Haus duftet es total angenehm nach der Kräutersauna im Untergeschoss. Das Personal ist super freundlich und die Besitzer wirken herzlich. Gerne wieder!

Leider gibt es zur Zeit keinen Restaurantbetrieb im Haus - ist aber wohl mittelfristig wieder geplant und rundet einen 4-Sterne-Betrieb dann bestimmt noch kompletter ab :)

Das Haus selbst ist bezaubernd und geschmackvoll her-und eingerichtet

Die Beschilderung ist vorallem nachts katastrophal, weil unbeleuchtet, was wesentlich ist, da das navi(Google maps) Probleme hat es zu finden...das Gepäck in den 2. Stock zu tragen war für mich eine unerwartete Herausforderung..mir wurde zwar nach Anfrage von der netten Rezeptionistin geholfen und dennoch hinterlässt es einen schalen Eindruck...
