Leuchtners an der Rennbahn

The location, close to the Autobahn 5 and out of town, perfectly suited our needs. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant with family members on Sunday evening and the traditional German food was delicious. The service was friendly and prompt.

We arrived on Sunday afternoon and had to let ourselves in with a phone call, a code and a key. We saw no staff, neither when we checked in nor when we checked out the following morning (we did not opt for breakfast). It is always a disappointment when hotel rooms have no tea and coffee-maing facilities, as this did not. There were no charging points for USB.

It was quiet. Able to park outside

Was told reception mannequin until 9.30 pm. We arrived at 9.06, place was locked and in darkness. Phoned number on door and told to operate key safe on wall. Had problems with it and owner sounded impatient. Got the key but couldnt open the door, eventually owner reluctantly came down to let us in. No smile just said you havent booked breakfast and were not asked if we required any. Room was fine but rather bare was however very clean.

Good location,not far from the motorway so a good location for a Pit-stop.
