Islamabad Regalia Hotel

This was my third stay at Islamabad Regalia Hotel, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The best asset of this hotel is its staff. They are incredibly helpful and always willing to assist with a smile, which makes a huge difference. I especially want to thank Farid at the front desk, who kindly upgraded my room complimentary. His professionalism, kindness, and support meant a lot, and he helped me with everything I needed throughout my stay. A very special mention to Hamid at the breakfast buffet. He always greets you warmly, asks how your stay is going, and makes sure you’re comfortable. You don’t even have to ask for anything, he notices on his own and offers help, asking if you need this or would like that. His attentiveness and genuine care truly stand out. They were also kind enough to allow me a late check-out due to the foggy motorway situation, which I truly appreciated. I always enjoy staying here and would absolutely love to come back again very soon. Without a doubt, I’ll be choosing Islamabad Regalia Hotel every time.

Room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional with good variety and good taste. Staff was welcoming and professional. A good and safe place for females.

I like everything. There is no unpleasant experience to mention here. One suggestion is to serve coffee as welcome drink in this cold weather.

The staff were pleasant, but unnecessarily obsequious. The food in the restaurant/room service was quite good, but the bakery products were stale and of poor quality. The hotel was not in a noisy location.

The management in this hotel does not give sufficient attention given to safety issues. There are a number of hazardous sloping floors and inclines around all the hotel which are insufficiently marked. Consequently, I had a terrible fall, with both physical injuries and severe bruising on my face. Until the time we were checking out, no one from the management team bothered to contact me after the fall to see how I was doing. Absolutely unacceptable! The electrics in both the rooms we had were extremely dodgy. The lights would go on randomly and not turn off, making sleep impossible. Light switches were temperamental; sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't. When contacted, the hotel electricians did not seem to have a clue what to do. The WiFi is totally unreliable. The hotel is located down a very shabby side road which is poorly lit and unwalkable. The exterior is of the hotel is unimpressive. A car and driver are absolutely necessary, because of the location. In conclusion, this hotel is a health hazard. It is particularly unsuitable for the international traveller and we do not recommend it.
