Just 1 minute walking distance from the Fort with friendly staff and great roof top view of The Fort. Our room was very clean and with lots of space and solid furniture, especially we loved the well designed bathroom made up with local sandstone marble with separate shower area. Gem in the heart of town.

It's a very decent hotel with a rustic feel. The room was spacious enough and equipped with all the amenities. A tasty, home-like breakfast was served on the rooftop with a view of the Jaisalmer fort in the morning. Fort is just five minutes away from the hotel. There is also a market nearby. Gadisar lake is also within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with all our requests. Additionally, they provided us with a good itinerary and good food options. In case you check out early and want to wander around a bit, they also store luggage

Very welcoming and friendly owner. Loved the breakfast from roof top with the best view of the Fort. They also arranged us great camel safari in their non touristic tour. Recommended

Lovely place to stay in Jaisalmer with beautiful roof terrace, friendly staff and hot showers!

Lala was sn excellent host who went put of his way to be helpful and kind. My wife had earache and he took us to the local pharmacy! The food, room and location were also very good.

You don't need to be skeptical, this hotel is really worth the rating. The hospitality, service, food and friendliness offered by the two brothers is truly outstanding. Not to mention their understanding of sustainability and healthy/vegan cuisine. Thank you so much for letting us have this experience!

There was nothing to complain about

We enjoyed our stay it was very clean and located very close to the fort. The view was nice from the roof top.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Shanti Home. Our room was large, clean and very nicely decorated. Hotel also arranged great camel safari, Bariyam our Jeep driver was really friendly. The roof top view of Jaisalmer Fort was amazing also with fantastic breakfast. We loved our stay and will definitely recommend it.

I have travelled in India many times over a period of 30 years and stayed in a variety of places, good, bad and indifferent. But the Hotel shanti is one that has caught my attention by being a great hotel but more importantly, by the time and effort that Lala and Jimmy put in to helping their guests have a great time. We stayed there for 3 nights, used them for laundry, dinner, taxis, tour information and as a guide to the fort. They and their team excelled in all these things and left us with a feeling of not having paid enough to them for the what they did for us. Worth also mentioning that one morning Jimmy knocked on my door to present me with my wallet, which I had dropped and had been found by one of his staff, before I even knew I had lost it! A wonderful place with wonderful people and one I will return to.

Located just at the heart of Town with all monuments at walking distance. Rooms was spacious and very clean. Bathroom was well designed with great how water. The staff is really caring and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast on the roof top with amazing view of Jaisalmer fort. We highly recommend this lovely home stay.
