Seehotel Baumgarten

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See ist sehr ruhig, aber die Anreise durch eine einspurige Straße direkt zwischen Fels und See nichts für schwache Nerven. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, aber die Jahre merkt man dem Hotel echt an. Das Essen war lecker, aber preislich über dem europäischem Standard (ist halt die CH). Wer eine urige, traditionelle, sehr ruhige Unterkunft direkt am See sucht ist hier völlig richtig !

Das Hotel selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war länger nicht gelüftet und somit etwas "muffig". Das Hotel war fast leer und wir hatten eine laute Kleinkinder-Familie als Nachbarn, das hätte man besser managen können. Der Preis ist, wie überall in der Schweiz, etwas zu hoch.

Lovely views, great spot for dinner. Staff were really great and we loved being able to swim in the lake. Close to the boat stops for a day out too.

Having to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs (although to be fair the staff did offer to take them!) The room was also a little bit basic inside, and would benefit from decor that matches the beautiful view

Hotel location was very nice, but access was difficult. Great staff. Clean. Restaurant provided a good variety of food and drinks.

Included breakfast had limited choices. The road to the hotel was extremely narrow or single lane with a cliff on one side and Lake Lucerne on the other, all with two way traffic and pedestrians.
