Tamar'Inn

Fantastic place. Matthieu was warm an welcoming, and as he built the cabins himself, the attention to detail was amazing, as was the hot tub. Even better was the room service breakfast in the morning. One of our favorite places we've stayed in recent memory!

We had a wonderful stay in Tamar'Inn, the rooms were very comfortable and we loved having our own private hot tub and sauna to relax in after exploring the volcano, Grand Bassin and Bébour-Bélouve Forests. The breakfast was also delicious.

Modern and comfortable hut provided with all the facilities for a relaxing stay. Amazing breakfast and super nice owner was very accommodating. The location is just perfect for those who want to hike the volcano. Recommended

Matthew ( Matthau) was an excellent host . The room was very clean and new , very close to the volcano for an early hiking start , gave us recs for eating for dinner . couldn’t fault at all . perfect

The sauna and the jacuzzi are a great way to relax after a long hike on the volcano. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious.

Very helpfull host. He brought us to a restaurant as we had no car and it was raining.

Beautiful chalets not far from piton de la Fournaise. The place is easily reachable by car and it has a free parking lot up front. The location is very quiet, the sauna and the jacuzzi are a very special treat after a hike or just to relax. Close by you have many different creole restaurants, just be sure to check if they are open during the holidays (Christmas/new year in our case) because most of them were just open for lunch. Finally, the staff is very helpful and kind :)
