Excellent location and clean, very welcoming staff

Booked a double room for a last minute night away. The price was very reasonable. Friendly staff greeted us. We stopped on the 8th floor. We had a huge window overlooking the street but it was quite dirty on the outside. Air con was already on when we entered the room which was lovely because it was a very humid day. The room seems fairly modern and was nice and clean. The bathroom is inside your room and only separated by glass (3/4 frosted) so I wouldn’t recommend sharing with someone your aren’t extremely comfortable with 🤣 Shampoo and body wash was provided, the shower had good water pressure and was nice and hot. The TV had fully sky package but no smart features but this didn’t bother us. A hair dryer was also provided. My only complaint was the bed, it was like sleeping on a plank of wood! I’ve never experienced a mattress so hard! As a result I didn’t sleep well at all. I would stop here again but would just request a room with a softer mattress.

Fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, going out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect - close to everything we needed. Would happily stay again.

Only minor downside was limited cupboard space, but for the price, location, and overall experience, it really wasn't an issue.

Can't fault it, for the price its a great spot. The rooms pretty much no frills, bed, toilet, shower. Showers excellent plenty pressure and loads of hot water. You've got the standard sky package incl Sky Sports on the TV. Staff are absolutely brilliant. 2 minute walk to Mathew Street. I'd definitely go back. If you don't want to trek all the way back to Lime Street, Moorfields is also a 2 minute walk away.
