Elsinore Hotel Llandudno

The location

On arrival we were told we had not paid , then they found out we had . The 1st room they gave us was dirty , drawers fronts hanging off wardrobe doors would not shut , Carpet filthy . After speaking to the manager we were moved to another room which was 100% better

The facilities and cleanliness at this hotel were extremely poor-honestly among the worst I have ever experienced. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and the hospitality was equally disappointing. The corridors leading to the rooms had a strong unpleasant smell, and the room itself was very unhygienic. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, and the shower was loose and poorly fitted. Even the room’s smoke detector appeared to be non-functional, which raised serious safety concerns. Despite having an advance booking, the hotel initially refused to provide us with a room. After waiting for nearly two hours, I contacted Booking.com and requested a cancellation. Only then did the receptionist suddenly agree to provide us with a room.( Attaching photos of the hotel reception as well). The breakfast was also very disappointing. The options were extremely basic, the toaster was not working, and the yoghurt provided was of very poor quality. The breakfast service was slow, and the staff seemed inattentive. Additionally, the room felt very cramped and uncomfortable. The window offered no proper outside view, making the place feel more like a jail than a hotel. Overall, it was an absolutely unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Little to no signal or hotel WiFi only on ground floor..hard to upstand the receptionist on check-in.

Staff were all very friendly and the check in and out process were quick. Breakfast was basic but good. Overall a good stay - it's situated in a perfect location and was a reasonable price.

The hotel would definitely benefit from a refurb as it was quite dated and in my room the towel rail was hanging off the wall. My room was very small and I had the tiniest bathroom and shower, but it was clean. The bed was really squeaky and I thought I would struggle to sleep, but it was actually quite comfortable. I did notice that the fire instructions notice on the back of my door wasn't completed which for me wasn't a problem as I was right next to a fire escape but with the long corridors, it could have been troublesome for other guests knowing the quickest route if there was a fire.

Hm byłem po 11 niestety musiałem czekać do 15 na pokój ja i jakiś Inny gość byliśmy zaskoczeni punktualnością byłem drugi raz 14 45 kazano mi czekac do 15 widać mało osób w obsłudze hotelu trochę dziwny zapach ale szło się przyzwyczaić śniadania lepiej było by spuścić 10 15 f i zrobić bez śniadań ale rozumie to dla nich pieniądze ogólnie hotel stołówka do gruntownego remontu reszta spoko bez zastrzeżeń
