Semi rustic and off the beaten path. Our hosts were very friendly and the dinner, wine, and desserts were excellent! There is a nice hiking area a short drive away with nice views of the area. Our room was clean and comfortable.

It simply felt nice to be at this property. The room, dinner (and breakfast) and the hist were all excellent. The host made us feel particularly welcome and at ‘home’.

"An escape to the country!"

Our host went out of his way to make our brief stay memorable. He was friendly,professional and could not have done more to ensure the comfort of our visit. The evening meal and the breakfast he provided were excellent,and catered for our every requirement.We thank him for the welcome he gave us.

There was nothing to dislike in any way. Although the hotel is in a remote location, many of the approach roads have been/are being upgraded, and the route is clearly marked with signs from the hotel.

very charming and hospitable, despite freezing weather and very little notice of my arrival. The bedroom was warm and welcoming. The evening meal was simple yet outstanding.
