Drake

The Drake Hotel did not have room, so they booked us into Hotel Planet. Great location as we wanted to visit the Ferrari Museum, which is located right across the street. The staff was amazing at Hotel Planet and the facilities were very nice. We loved eating at The Drake Hotel because they have a large and lovely outdoor dining space which is covered and their inside restaurant is very nice. The staff at The Drake are friendly, efficient and kind.

We were located in the top floor of the Hotel Planet and it was quite warm in the room. We had to ask to be moved to a different room (same floor) that didn't get as much sun and was more comfortable. It did not have great air conditioning but all in all our stay was very nice and comfortable.

Beautiful rooms, fully equipped, cleanliness everywhere, helpful and friendly staff at the reception.

We did not like the limited selection of breakfast options, and the staff at breakfast did not properly inform us about what was included in the price and what was not.

Like many reviewers mentioned, shortly after the booking we were notified that we should check-in in the Planet hotel, not Drake, so the review is about Planet hotel. The hotel is very close (less than 10 minutes on foot) to Ferrari museum and just in front of the entrance of Ferrari facility; quite a big supermarket is also not far away. Bathroom was equipped with disposable toothcare sets. Very well (maybe even excessive) heating. Cafe (with no dinner options) downstairs. Balcony with tables and chairs (see photo attached).

Extremely limited breakfast offering - no vegetables, cheeses, hams; mostly packed products, like waffles. But, there were walnuts. Additionally, dirty plates - I had to choose carefully a clean one.

The breakfast was magnificent. Good offered more than we could eat. It exceeded our requirements. The location was perfect. We could walk over to the Ferrari Museum, but high was the reason for our booking at this hotel. The staff was proficient in English and very apologetic for the rain which was out of their control. Hotel is in walking distance of bus stops and restaurants

If they could possibly add an extra blanket to the room or maybe I should have asked. I didn’t want to raise the temperature of the air conditioner as I suffer from sinusitis and hay fever. Nothing was lacking in the rooms.
