Hostel Chillertal

The cleaning lady was really wonderful and helped me a lot with tips etc. It's worth noting that it's out of season. So recepting wasn't really open which led to issues. I stayed three days. The mountains and are are epic. I will be back however if I Brought a friend I would get a hotel for a few euros more per night.

The door locks/key didn't really work. No one answers the phone/email etc. Just very unorganised in general for a hotel/hostel. One guest got locked out of her room and ended up sleeping in a different room which had the door open lol

Convenient, comfortable & good value for money.

No staff - online check in didn’t work, so I had to call. I was able to get in after the person on the phone told me the code. Other than that I didn’t see or speak to another representative. The bin in the kitchen was full to overflowing, but nobody emptied for 3 days. As a result there were rodent droppings on some of the surfaces. Some toilets did not have toilet paper for 3 days. The evening before I was due to check out my wristband fob to open and close doors stopped working so I just left.

It is such a nice place! The location is beautiful, close to the train station and good hiking points. The bed is very comfy and private with a curtain and own charging points. Facilities were good. Really highly recommend and I can imagine it will have a very fun vibe in winter.
