The hotel itself would be okay if not for the host

I am honestly surprised by this hotel's high rating, as I have never encountered such a hostile host anywhere else. My friends and I booked three rooms and checked in at different times, but every one of us had a bad experience with her. She communicated not only in an unfriendly way but in an outright hostile manner. She also provided incorrect information—for example, claiming it is not allowed to walk in ski boots in Mayrhofen (???) and that a guest card is not required for the bus to the Hintertuxer Gletscher (it is required, and the driver checks it). My friends who brought their cat probably had the worst experience of their lives at this hotel. Although the listing states "pets allowed on request," she initially refused to give them their room when they arrived in the evening, but later agreed to let the cat stay for an extra €25/day. Then, during check-out, she literally threw a tantrum, shouting at them and trying to extort extra money for cleaning and a room upgrade they never requested. I hope they share their own review here. Looking at other reviews, it seems someone else also had a similar experience when bringing a dog. Stay away from this hotel if you don’t want to ruin your holiday. There are plenty of other hotels in Mayrhofen with much friendlier owners.

New, Clean, Silent, Breakfast, Host

Die Lage mitten in Mayrhofen war super und dennoch ruhig. Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage vorhanden. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut. Es war alles da.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, gute Empfehlungen über das Geschehen im Dorf. Gutes Morgenessen.

Perfekte Lage und dass wir das Motorrad in die Tiefgarage stellen konnten.

Great location! near the main street but quiet. Very clean and tidy place :) great room for one person - even with a small nice terrace! Tasty breakfast! Angela and Suzana were really friendly and helpfull, defenetly recommanded :)
