Allgäuhotel Memmingen Nord

It is very close to Autobahn where A7 and A96 meet each other, and that's PERFECT for those going on a trip either South or north and need a short break. We arrived to Allgäuhotel after several hours by car, and then meeting this nice lady in the reception, sleeping in a welcoming and large bed - and having a lovely breakfast the next day. One of the best things about this hotel is actually that they had made scramble eggs with LOCAL formers eggs. AND without milk - as 9 out of 10 hotels otherwise do, which means that if you are lactose intolerant, you can't always eat the eggs in the breakfast buffet. MOREOVER - the boiled eggs were not hard-boiled, but actually soft boiled. It was a veritable TREAT! 😍😃🙌 They also provided plant milk options as well as vegetarian options (Humus, fruit salad and the like). The bed and mattresses. For some, the matrasses and bed may seem on the harder side. The mattress is sort of funny. When you sit on it, it feels soft. You sink into it, but when you like down, it can feel a harder or less "giving" than you would expect. This can be altered by using more than one pillow under your head. If you are not too curvy, the beds are great. I think they adjust to your overall weight in hardness. The bathroom was VERY clean, with adequate amount of space and a shower area with enough space for a regular human being taking a bath. Compared to many similar hotels in the price range, I'd say the bathroom was spacious! I was positively surprised to find a paper with a satisfaction survey in our room, asking how the stay had been, and if they could do anything to improve. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others and be sure to check it out if I am travelling that way in the future!

Our room faced the building next to the hotel which was a fitness center. The center opens very early and closes late at night. So, if you are sensitive to that, make sure to pull the curtains...

The hotel was easy to find just of the motorway and plenty of parking, the room was very clean and quite, and the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay again.
