Great hostel with friendly staff. Very clean and nice rooms.

The staff was nice. The room was big. The area felt safe for a female solo traveler. The breakfast that you had to order the night before was very good and filling. This hostal was very close to the port and it was downhill which made rolling luggage so much easier.

I feel like having actual AC instead of a fan in the private room would’ve made a huge difference especially in the summer months. I would’ve paid extra if given the option tbh. I found it so hard to sleep at night bc of how sweaty I was. The room was stuffy at all times. The water pressure in the shower was low which made shampooing and conditioning a longer process. I did see build up around the nozzle so the shower head could just need a deep cleaning. The room could have been cleaner as well. Once I killed the bugs and cleaned the webs in the bathroom, it was decent. The sink and mirror were located outside of the bathroom in a part of the room that had low lighting. I stayed in 4 private rooms during my Nicaragua trip and this was the only one that didn’t offer towels :/

The decoration and colours of the hostel rooms are beautiful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is central and close to the main street and supermarkets. The patio is nice and a great spot to hang out.

It is a bit old but that is also charming!

The hostel has a great location and is very lively. Moreover the staff was very helpful and gave nice recommendations in terms of activity. The share spaces were ok too and very welcoming. The breakfast were generous and changed a bit of the usual breakfasts we had elsewhere in Nicaragua.

The rooms were ok but could be cleaner so as the shower in the rooms.
