Hotel Crystal Palace

The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and both the bedsheets and pullover carried a noticeable smell. The location, which was about 1.2km away from the start of the mall road, wasn't very convenient. However, I did find the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it seemed that they were limited in what they could do due to the lack of attention from the owner. As a traveler influencer, considering the cost, there are plenty of better hotel options available.

I had a horrible stay, so did not like anything.

I did book the Deluxe room, and even if I was looking for something quite simple, the room was terrible. The bathroom was in a very bad shape because of the humidity, they had put some chemical perfume to cover the rotten smell, and the window was opposite a wall so no light could enter the room. I left before check out on the day after but they made me pay for 2 nights, arguing that I booked the room on booking. The person at reception who handled this was extremely disagreeable. I think all the good reviews are made by friends and staff because I cannot understand how they would get such a rating. The room was extremely cold because it was November and It was never seeing the light of the day, so they charged 400 INR for the heater. Also, the restaurant is an open terrace so it’s not very nice for a stay when it’s cold.

The hotel staff was coperative, the food was good , they have shuttle service (once a day ) to Mall road.

There is no lift and one needs to climb up too many steps which (are on a steep slope) even to reach the lobby. One will have to climb stairs to their alloted room( which maybe on the third floor) The balconies in the room are like small corners without any view.
