Tam Coc Minh Hung Homestay

I had an unforgettable experience at this beautiful hotel. The location is simply breathtaking — nestled in the heart of vast rice fields and surrounded by majestic mountains. The peace and quiet are unreal; it’s the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature. The pool was excellent — clean, refreshing, and with a view that makes you want to stay forever. What truly made my stay special was the incredibly warm and welcoming family who runs the place. I had a delightful hour-long conversation with the father of the family, and his smile and kindness left a lasting impression. Breakfast was simple but delicious, with a choice of eggs or pancakes. And despite the serene setting, the hotel is just a 5-minute drive from the main tourist center — close enough for convenience but far enough to enjoy tranquility. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Amazing views, lovely pool and very friendly welcome.

The homestay is in a great location, right out in the rice fields - really beautiful. It's a little further out from Tam Coc town but no more than 15 minutes walk on a nice quiet road, or even shorter on a bike, so there is access to restaurants, cafés, shops etc. It also means it's nice and quiet. Bicycles are available for free while you're there. The staff were lovely and very helpful, including booking taxis for us and transfer to/from Hanoi. Breakfast of pancakes was very nice to start the day. Nice pool to cool off at after a hot day exploring Ninh Binh. There is a very cute little dog as well at the homestay who wanders around! The little cabin rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable, and have all you need for your stay, including AC.

Very little not to like! Perhaps if you want to be a little closer to the action of Tam Coc it is a bit far out, but it more than makes up for it with the stunning surroundings and peace and quiet.

Nice place close to the rice fields but a bit far from the center where you can find restaurants. Swimming pool is really pleasant. Overall , we had a good time !

This is a nice place , but simple things may improve the feeling of your guests : - improve breakfast ! Sorry but the coffee and « industrial » marmelade / chocolate (in a bottles like ketchups) are just awful . You have good products in Vietnam ! - clean the table when your guests have finished the breakfast ! - improve the bikes ! As your Homestay is a bit far , it is really important to have enough bikes in good conditions . Without all those « little » things it would have been a great experience.

We had a really enjoyable time at Tam Coc Minh Hung. Hung was super friendly and helpful—always available when we needed something and even gave us a ride into Tam Coc city, which was a nice touch. The place itself has a lot of charm, though it could use a bit of refreshing here and there, and a little extra attention to cleanliness would go a long way. That said, the warm hospitality definitely made up for it. Overall, a solid stay and a great base for exploring the area. Thanks, Hung!

Great stay with an amazing family, very friendly! The location is perfect if you want to be close to the main town but still have a quiet setting and the amazing scenery of Tam Coc.
