Noordhoek Village Hotel

Good location

Everything was good

Staff made us feel very welcome and there was a bottle of champagne waiting in the room for us as it was my wifes birthday. Nice touch.

The Lady who met us for breakfast was most unwelcoming but fortunately Tully who took over from her was fantastic.

Location is good if want to be at the heart of Noordhoek

Walls are extremely thin so you can hear everything outside and inside the hotel. We were facing the restaurants so noise from the Village was really loud.

I liked being able to walk out to the common, shops and eateries. Didnt have time to try the sushi but would have liked to.

The location was perfect because we were attending a music show at Cafe Roux and it was a 50 meter walk from the hotel to Cafe Roux. Loads of little shops and places to browse and the sister restaurant Toad in the Village was good for a drink and a snack.

Breakfast was nice but fairly standard. We did struggle with the air conditioner a bit but the night staff were very helpful. There was no safe to keep valuables, it seemed to have been removed as there were fixing holes where a safe used to be.

The location was great. The staff were helpful and polite and room was clean. Good breakfast

It was a very cold and rainy day. The room was very cold and our heater wasn’t working. The front staff did try to get it to work, but weren’t successful. Surely, at this or any price, the equipment should be tested to be in Good working order BEFORE guests arrive. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Lastly, why no DSTv package, we had to use our own and the internet was very poor. Signal,came and went which made watching to annoying. 😡Never seen this before
