La colazione abbondante

The dinner was good, so I think there's a decent chef in the restaurant, but breakfast is just done by the owner. The owner has a good sense of humour, which perhaps he needs. I can't think of anything else positive - the location is just so incredibly noisy.

This place might be OK for students or young people - it's a bit like a hostel. Our room was right on the main road, and so noisy we couldn't sleep, even with the window shut. We usually sleep with our window open, but there was a constant flow of traffic as this is the main road up to the ski area. We could also hear a noisy group elsewhere in the hotel as the soundproofing is poor. The photo on booking.com shows what looks like a chalet with flowers in front - there are no flowers, and the door opens right on the road. The pavement was dirty and generally it looked dismal when we arrived. There is no bar, and the place was pretty quiet so no atmosphere even at dinner. The breakfast is very basic - fruit = one that has been there for a while, mainly its sugary cereal in packets, pre-packaged bakery items. I couldn't eat any of it. Not set up for skiers at all though it is right by the ski area. We are older people who like sleep and comfort, and this just wasn't for us.

Ci torneremo volentieri! Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questo splendido hotel con posizione comoda vicina alle piste ed al centro ma comunque in zona tranquilla con vista montagne, le camere sono in vero stile di montagna. Lo staff è cordiale e disponibile ti fanno sentire subito a casa, ma il vero punto di forza è la cucina tipica, con pasta fresca fatta in casa, piatti gustosi ed abbondanti. Consigliato!

L’ambiente è molto caratteristico, la struttura sembra addirittura risalire al 1500. Il ristorante offre un menù tipicamente piemontese con aggiunta di piatti originali preparati con cura e professionalità. Tutte le pietanze che abbiamo gustato erano veramente buonissime e ci siamo complimentati con la chef Loretta. Lo staff è stato molto gentile nel descriverci e proporci elementi dal menu aiutandoci a scegliere anche i vini più adatti dalla loro selezione molto fornita e di alta fascia. La camera era fornita di un delizioso balconcino che offriva una piacevole visuale della valle. L’ambiente era pulito e l’arredamento in chiave rustica ha offerto comunque un buon livello di comfort. Posizione ideale, facilmente individuabile e comodo per raggiungere a piedi sia il centro del paese che per passeggiate lungo il fiume.
